Recommendations:

If you use Thermo Comfy on a baby or a child, make sure you test its temperature on an adult’s (inner wrist) skin before using on the child.

Thermo Comfy will over heat if heated for longer than the recommended time. It will start to smoke and can even burn in flames.

Do not use the bag (or use cautiously with your doctor’s recommendations) if you are suffering from insensitivity in your body, from diabetes or from a bad blood circulation.

Do not use the bag warm on a swollen part of the body.

Thermo Comfy is made of organic oat grains that carry natural moisture. Oat grains heated too many times a day couldn't have enough time to regain their moisture and could overheat. Also, the Thermo Comfy keeps his heat longer and is the most efficient when the grains are naturally carrying enough moist. . You can also put a small glass of water in the micro-wave oven to add some humidity in the product.

If you need consistent use of heat we recommend you to have a spare Thermo Comfy to prevent overheating, fire hazard and to get the most results out of your Thermo Comfy.

Many users have 2 Thermo Comfy so they can heat them alternately and benefit from a consistent heat without needing to wait 30 minutes for the next heat up time.

The actual Thermo Comfy bags cannot be washed due to the oat grains and lin seeds. That is why we created a washable cover that we offer separately.

If you do not have a microwave oven, it is not recommended to heat Thermo Comfy in a conventional oven.

  • Preheat the oven to 175F (80 C)

  • Wrap Thermo Comfy in aluminum foil without leaving any part of it uncovered

  • Place the Bag on the central rack of the oven for 45 minutes. Do not leave it in the oven for more than 60 minutes.

  • Use a timer to make sure the maximum heating time is not exceeded.

  • Never leave the Thermo Comfy unattended while heating

Oats have an alkaline Ph, it reduces the acidity level in the body. On the skin it has a soothing effect.

The cotton fiber has absorbing properties; it retains moisture in the bag. It also has insulating properties, it retains the air warmed or cooled.  It is a very strong fiber, it resists high temperatures.

Suggestion:

Since Thermo Comfy is a 100% natural product based on oat grains, the effect of heating and/or cooling might diminish the grains resistance to maintain the heat and/or cold over time. If you start noticing that your grain bag becomes dryer over time, we suggest you put a small glass of water in the micro-wave oven to add some humidity in the product.

How it is a unique and better product:

Although the heating bags are not new to the market, Thermo Comfy is distinguished by its 4 unique dimensions you can choose from. This allows to cover either  a considerable area on the body; entire back, a whole leg, the whole abdomen, head and neck or either just wrap around a smaller part of the body such as a shoulder, a knee, an ankle, a forearm, etc…

It is also very efficient, since it consists of equal compartments containing each an equal amount of oat grains which allows an equal distribution of heat and the grains to stay into place. It allows the bag to be very supple and adjust to the body’s contour. The baby bag has 1 compartment and is more supple than other popular heating bags brands for kids. The eye bag is made of lin seeds so that the bag can custom fit around the eyes.

In addition, it has protective washable colored covers if desired which allows a better heat control and a hygienic alternative ; the cover is easily washed with washing machine.

Learn on this page how Thermo Comfy has a penetrating heat that relieves the pain, stress and helps to relax.

The heat creates a change in the body physiology.

Raising the temperature of the body tissue causes:

- increasing blood circulation

- A pain relief.

- A peripheral vasodilatation and drainage vessels essentially toxins thereby promoting an anti - inflammatory action.

- An increase in the metabolism of cells and cells activity.

- Increased scalability of fibrous tissue, relieving spasm and relaxation of tensions that fuel the pain and softens muscles tissues.

-accelerates the healing in case of injury,

Major effect on the injuries:

Applied at the right time, the heat promotes acceleration of the healing because it helps repair tissue thanks to vasodilation which provides additional blood supply and making available a greater amount of oxygen, nutrients, to antibody and macrophage cells at the lesion (large cells which absorb dead cells).

Heat

Heat relieves chronic pain by relaxing the muscles and relaxing the joints.

For example in case of:

- Stomachaches, including menstrual cramps;

- Tension and back pain and neck;

- Muscle cramps and stiffness.

Apply Thermo Comfy for about 20 minutes. Or take a shower or a hot bath.
